🏁 Getting Started
Welcome!
Thanks for choosing to sell with Twice Treasured! Whether you're a first-time seller or a returning pro, this guide will walk you through every step of the selling process.
Check out our Tagging Guides for additional videos.
Register as a Seller
Register through our online seller system. After registering, you'll keep your seller number and password—login is required each season. A $22 non-refundable consignor registration fee is due at registration (non-refundable even if you don't attend).
Using the Seller Portal, you'll be able to:
Enter and manage inventory
Print item tags
Select a drop-off appointment
Choose whether items will be discounted
Choose whether unsold items will be donated
Review seller agreement
Review unsold reports at the end of the sale.
Review sold and donation report after the sale and after seller reconciliation has taken place.
Returning Sellers
Selling again? You can transfer items from previous sales into your current inventory (only if season appropriate). If any information changes, simply update the item and print a new tag.
Remove old tags before attaching new ones. Items with duplicate tags may be removed from the sales floor.
What Can I Sell?
Women's clothing (sizes 0–18, plus petite and some plus sizes), shoes (all sizes 5 and up), and accessories.
New or gently worn, clean, and smoke-free.
Seasonal only: fall/winter items at the Fall sale, spring/summer items at the Spring sale (denim accepted at both).
Items We Cannot Accept
Anything off-season for the current sale.
Anything not on the acceptance list—these are returned at drop-off.
Stained, holey, heavily worn, or incomplete items.
Quality Matters
We're highly selective so shoppers always find quality. Items must be clean, complete, and in good condition. Please don't be offended if we can't accept something—we aim to offer the best quality possible.
📦 Preparing Your Items
Supplies You'll Need
White or light cardstock (80–110 lb paper)
Plastic hangers
Safety pins
General Tagging Rule
Attach only one tag per item. If an item has more than one part or piece, describe all pieces on that single tag.
Preparing Clothing
Inspect for stains in a well-lit area—stained items are pulled from the sales floor.
Hang all clothing on plastic or velvet hangers (no wire hangers).
Attach tags with safety pins (not straight pins) at the upper right corner.
Hang pants properly rather than folding them over hangers.
Use tagging guns only in seams to avoid holes.
Preparing Shoes
Attach with a zip tie through the laces or heel.
No scuffs or heavily worn shoes.
Don't display in shoe boxes.
🏷️ Pricing & Tagging
Pricing Your Items
Minimum $5 per item.
Items typically sell for about one-third of the original retail price.
Price in $.50 increments only.
Discounting Items
Check the discount box to make an item eligible for the half-price sale day. Discounted items print with a red star on the tag.
Donating Unsold Items
Check the donate box to mark an item with a "D" on its tag. Unsold donated items go to our rotating charity partners immediately after the sale.
What's on the Tag
The online system captures size, description, price, discount, and your seller number (printed automatically). Each tag has a unique barcode scanned at checkout.
Writing Great Descriptions
Clearly identify the item type so it can be matched back to you if the tag is separated (e.g., "Ann Taylor black blazer, size 8").
Printing Tags
Use white cardstock only—tags on standard paper are not accepted, as they tear or get lost.
Default layout is 6 tags per page.
Avoid "best" or "excellent" print quality settings, which can render barcodes unreadable.
Print full-size only; smaller tags don't scan and are hard to read.
Any tag change must be reprinted through the system.
Tagging Rules
Cardstock tags from the online system only.
No handwritten tags, stickers, plain paper, or writing on ziplock bags.
🚗 Drop-Off Day
Schedule Your Appointment
Choose your drop-off appointment through the Seller Portal.
Before You Arrive
Sort your items by size ahead of time.
Drop-Off Process
Check in at the Check-In table with your seller number and info.
Place clothing on the main category tables.
Staff confirm proper tagging, hanging, and seasonal compliance.
Non-compliant items are refused or donated immediately.
You may wait up to 60 minutes if you'd like to take back any rejected items.
What We Look For at Drop-Off
Clothing: gently worn or new, seasonal, sizes 0–18, no stains/holes, functional zippers and buttons, correct sizing.
Shoes: functional soles, laces, and zippers.
Tags: cardstock, system-generated only—no handwritten or stickered tags.
Seller Passes
Two passes are emailed to every seller.
A pass is required to enter the Seller PreSale—spouses need a pass too.
🛍️ During the Sale
Relax—we handle the selling!
No meeting up with buyers, no negotiating, no standing at a yard sale. We take care of everything while your items sell.
💰 Pickup & Payment
Picking Up Unsold Items
All unsold items are available at the end of the sale—collect them and check out; staff will help you locate items.
Check the Lost & Found and Pulled for Quality areas.
Items not picked up by the deadline are donated to charity.
Unmarked items left behind incur a $20 fee, plus $30 per oversized item.
We regret that no alternate pick-up arrangements can be made—please have a friend pick up for you if you can't. Twice Treasured is not responsible for lost, damaged, stolen, or untagged unsold goods.
Seller Commissions
Sellers earn 50% of the selling price of each item.
Plus two presale passes to shop before the public.
Getting Paid
Payment is sent by eCheck within 3 weeks after the sale. Lost checks can be reissued with an administrative fee applied.
✅ Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Register and Log In
Register and pay the $22 non-refundable consignor fee, then log in to the tagging system with your seller number and password. The fee is non-refundable even if you don't attend.
Step 2: Sort Your Items
Arrange your clothing by size before you start tagging.
Step 3: Open Your Inventory
Click "Work With My Consigned Items."
Step 4: Enter Each Item
Select the category.
Select the size.
Enter a clear, descriptive item description.

Step 5: Print Your Tags
Print on white cardstock only (default 6 tags per page); avoid high-quality print settings. If you don't have a cardstock printer, staple paper tags to index cards. Step 6: Make Any Corrections
No handwritten changes to price, discount, or donation status—reprint the tag for any correction.
Step 7: Cut and Attach Your Tags
Cut your tags and attach with safety pins or painter's tape, avoiding taping over the barcode.
Step 8: Pack for Drop-Off
Pack your items and load them for drop-off. Then pour a glass and enjoy the space you made—your eCheck will arrive soon!
