📦 Preparing Your Items
Supplies You'll Need
Gather these supplies before you begin:
White cardstock
Plastic hangers
Safety pins
Painter's tape
Packing tape
Zip ties
Zip-top bags
Ribbon or string
Plastic wrap
Fresh batteries
Basic tools for furniture
We will NOT be able to sell any item without a tag.
Preparing Clothing
Inspect carefully in bright light.
Hang on plastic hangers.
Remove stains and wrinkles.
Attach tag near the upper right.
Group outfits when appropriate.
Sort by gender and size.
Preparing Shoes
Clean thoroughly. We are very picky about shoes, they must be clean and in good condition.
Zip tie pairs together.
Or place inside a clear bag. Shoes in boxes don't sell well.
Attach tag securely.
Preparing Toys
Toys MUST include ALL parts.
Test functionality.
Install batteries. Toys without working batteries will be removed from the sales floor and returned to you. Dollar stores sell very inexpensive batteries.
We only accept talking and interactive stuffed animal-type toys in like-new condition. No regular stuffed animals, please.
Bag loose pieces.
Attach tag securely.
Games & Puzzles
Must be complete.
Wrap puzzles in plastic wrap.
Tape on the back only.
Some puzzles are made from paper. DO NOT attach the tag to the paper front, as it can rip the puzzle pieces.
Books
Use blue painter's tape and attach the tag to the top front of the book. Other types of tape can damage paperback covers when removed.
Bundle similar books together. Use twine, string, or ribbon and wrap them like a present. Do not use rubber bands, as they do not work well."
DVDs
Correct case
Working disc
No R-rated movies
Small Items
Bag together:
Bibs
Bottles
Hair accessories
Cups
Small toys
Large Items
Infant equipment, large outdoor toys, etc. - attach the tag using packing tape, or zip ties.
Attach a small piece of tape on the bottom of the item with your seller number and selling price. If the tag is lost/missing, we will still know who the item belongs to.
Large Little Tykes toys and furniture are in high demand!
Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated the item will not sell.
Furniture & Equipment
Assemble completely
Bring hardware
Include manuals if available (If you no longer have the manual, you can often download it from the manufacturer's website. This also helps buyers see the original retail price and understand what a great deal they're getting.)
Test before bringing
No cribs are accepted.
Room Décor
Attach tags using tape or safety pins unless the item is large or wooden furniture.
For wooden furniture, punch a hole in the tag and attach it with string or ribbon.
Do not use tape on wood furniture, especially painted wood furniture.
Window treatments must include measurements.
Artwork and photo frames should have the tag taped to the front of the glass, preferably in the upper right-hand corner. Because of how artwork is displayed, buyers often cannot find tags if they are placed on the back.
Canvas artwork or pieces without glass should have the tag attached to the back to avoid damaging the artwork.
Blue painter's tape works best.
Car Seats
Car seats must meet all current safety and quality requirements:
Manufactured within the past six years
At least one year remaining before expiration
Never involved in an accident
Not subject to a recall
All straps and covers fully functional and thoroughly cleaned
Car seats that do not meet these requirements will be removed from the sales floor.

Use enough detail to identify the item if the tag becomes separated.
Good: Pink Carter’s floral two-piece pajama set
Not enough detail: Shirt
Pricing Tips
Most items sell best when priced at approximately 25–33% of their original retail value.
Consider:
Brand
Age
Condition
Original retail price
Current demand
Whether the item is new with tags
What you would realistically pay for it secondhand
Like-new and premium items may be priced higher. Older or more well-loved items should be priced lower.
Discounting
Select the discount option if you would like the item to be eligible for the designated 50% Off Sale.
Discount-eligible items will display a star on the printed tag.
Items marked “No Discount” should be distinctive and competitively priced.
Donating
Select the donation option if you would like an unsold item donated after the sale.
Donation-selected items will display a “D” on the printed tag.
Step 5: Print Your Tags
When your inventory is ready, select one of the Print Tags options in the Seller Portal.
Printing requirements:
Use white or very light cardstock.
Print six tags per page.
Print at full size.
Keep the reverse side of each tag blank.
Use dark ink so barcodes scan clearly.
Do not shrink or resize tags.
Do not print on both sides.
Make sure your printer has adequate ink and that every barcode is crisp and readable.
Step 6: Make Any Corrections
Do not handwrite changes to a printed tag.
If you need to change an item’s price, description, discount status, donation status, update the item in the Seller Portal and print a new tag.
Remove the old tag before attaching the replacement. Tag information cannot be changed after the item has been checked into the sale.
Step 7: Cut and Attach Your Tags
Cut apart the printed tags and securely attach one tag to each item.
Use:
Safety pins for clothing
Blue painter’s tape for books and delicate surfaces
Packing tape for durable surfaces and bags
Zip ties for shoes, equipment, and large items
String or ribbon where appropriate
Never use straight pins. Do not place tape over the barcode. Tiny Tots cannot sell an item if its tag is missing or unreadable.
Step 8: Pack for Drop-Off
Pack like items together and organize your vehicle by category.
Before leaving home:
Sort clothing by gender and size.
Group non-clothing merchandise by category.
Confirm that all tags are secure.
Test battery-operated items.
Assemble large furniture and equipment.
Bring required tools and hardware.
Confirm that every item is clean, complete, safe, and in season.
Then you’re ready for drop-off—and one step closer to clearing space and earning your eCheck.
